Tours in the Dominican Republic

Four destinations, four ways to experience the island. We work with the operators on the ground — not with middlemen who resell.

Punta Cana: Ultimate Adventure

The reef holds a whole world: shoals of butterflyfish, living coral, and green turtles that let you swim alongside them. We set off early, when the water is at its clearest.

  • Snorkelling over a living coral reef
  • Sea turtles and tropical fish
  • White-sand beach, no crowds
  • Shallow water, suitable for beginners

Samaná: Whales and Los Haitises

Every winter, humpback whales travel thousands of kilometres to calve in Samaná Bay. On the same day we enter Los Haitises National Park.

  • Humpback whale watching (in season)
  • Los Haitises National Park
  • Hidden waterfalls deep in the forest
  • Caves with Taíno rock art

Jarabacoa Adventure: Total Fun

No beach here. Mountains, mud and cold water — and a range that climbs to 3,000 metres. You come back filthy and grinning.

  • Rafting on the Yaque del Norte river
  • Buggy through the Central Mountain Range
  • Zip lines above the valley
  • The high-altitude coffee route

Bayahibe: Snorkelling and Saona

The gateway to the Eastern National Park, and to the country’s two finest islands. At Saona, the water stays waist-deep for hundreds of metres.

  • Saona Island and its natural pool
  • The reef off Catalina Island
  • Underground caves
  • Sea fans and surgeonfish
